Brittle things break before they turn...
Feeling kinda burnt out tonight, although today was a good day. We had an excellent dinner of baked potato soup (store-bought, but still very tasty) in bread bowls, with tomato, fresh basil and mozzarella as a side. I am out of balsamic vinegar, though, so it was a little bland with only olive oil and salt. But pretty tasty anyway. And dessert was mango with lime and salt. I am quite sated, food-wise, at the moment.
Elijah LOVED the mango, he kept fussing for more, and shoving it all in his mouth and going "ahh ahh ahh". Very cute.

I want to write some short articles to go on places like EZ Articles and HubPages and Squidoo. Anyone have any suggestions on what sort of things to write?
---
Today was a migraine day, from about 2pm till 8pm or so. There was little aura, and some joint pain. My migraines are so different than they used to be . . . it's very odd, and I think it's going to be time for some doctors' visits and official diagnosis soon.

Storms make me happy.
Despite getting to sleep way too late and getting up way too early, today was nice. We acquired more double-yolk eggs, ten (ten!) beautiful scarves, some little stuff from IKEA, and a wonderful antique chair. We had lunch with Amanda, Beth (Auntie Nom Nom!) and Josh at a Korean place, and dinner with those three plus Chris B, Dani and her new guy (who gets my approval but still can't take her to live in Alabama). Elijah ate a lot of food and refused to nurse until bedtime (please please please don't make that a regular thing yet... give me a few more months, please, baby boy!). We had IKEA frozen yoghurt. It was a good day.
The best part of all, however, was riding in the car, Sisters of Mercy blasting on the stereo, rain pouring down, the storm raging around us, watching the other cars dance on the road. I saw more streak lightning in that half hour than I did in 12 years in Kentucky, where it was all sheet lightning.
To my utter amazement, I do not currently have a migraine, or even any joint pain. My joints are stiff, as usual, but I'm used to that. And my muscles are sore, but that seems normal after walking all day and carrying a heavy baby for most of it.
So yeah. A good day.

Moving.
OMG moving packing awkjhdflwekwle *zonk*
Ahem.
We're moving. In case I hadn't mentioned it. We're moving Friday.
Aunt Marcy and Aunt Nicole have been extremely helpful in entertaining the babyface the past two evenings so I could get some packing done.
You'd think I'd have more to say. Hmm. Let's see. Elijah spent the day crawling around like crazy, and talking up a storm. It was awesome, and would have been even more awesome if I hadn't been feeling like a useless moron for having a silent migraine. (I mean seriously? Why can't I handle this weirdness when there's no pain? Oh that's right--because I CAN'T WALK OR SPEAK! I still got laundry done and dinner made, though, so I guess I shouldn't feel so guilty.)
How about some pictures?
Us on the train!
Look at him stand!
I'm proud of this shot.
He is less than impressed, when aunt Kacy is carrying him to the ocean.
Destroying my turtles, however, was fun!
Kisses for Kacy :D
This was one of the birds that kept trying to steal our food.
There was a rainbow!! Can you see it?
And this shot is of our new floors, because they're awesome.
There are more pictures here, including some cell phone noms and more shots at the beach :)
